I’m not really one to add a lot of color into my makeup routine – give me nudes and pinks and I’m a happy girl. But, as soon as I received the Nars Duo Eyeshadow in Tropical Princess and swatched that gorgeous lime shade, I knew I wanted to incorporate it into a post. I didn’t get crazy colorful with this look; think of it more as a pop of color in training. Here’s what I did, I hope you enjoy!

Face: after I moisturized, I applied my Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid-Touch Foundation and blended it in with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. To conceal underneath my eyes I used my trusty L’Oreal True Match Concealer.

Cheeks: I skipped bronzer, and instead went for a natural, sheen-y cheek with my Josie Maran Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil in Limitless Pink.

Eyes: after I primed my eyes with Urban Decay’s Primer Potion, I blended Nars’ Soft Touch Shadow Pencil in Iraklion* over my lids with a fingertip. Next, I took a small smudge brush and smudged the lime green shadow from the Tropical Princess Duo* onto my lower lash line, getting right into the inner corners. To add definition, I drew a not too thin, not too thick line with my L’Oreal Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner on my upper lash line, winging the line out at the outer corners. Lastly, I applied several coats of my Maybelline Full ‘N Soft Mascara.

Lips: I kept things neutral and pink on the lips with my Smashbox O-Gloss.
